Hello folks, my name is Dennis Loving and I am currently in the market for a 07-09 CC Affinity and have heard bad reviews about there electrical systems. Is there anyone that can tell me what the negative comments of the electrical systems are about? Any information about the pros and cons of owning a CC Affinity, Magna or Intrigue would be very much appreciated!

Thanks in advance and I look forward to participating in this very informative web site!

No bias here but I hear late 1990s to early 2000s are the CCs to have!

I would also advise not to buy 09-10. At that point CC was already in financial trouble and no longer had credit. At that point they were scraping to get what they had in stock completed and out the door. There were less problems with pre-2004 from what has appeared on this forum. Although I own a 2001, if I knew then what I know now, I'd go for a 2003.

We have a 2008 Intrigue 42' with four slides and absolutely LOVE it. We used to have a 2005 Inspire but sold it to buy this Intrigue. We wanted all heated tile floors, and are very happy with them. Wouldn't want to buy any other coach without heated tile floors. We have owned it for 16 months and it has been wonderful. We do spend six months in it in Lake Havasu City so wanted a King bed, stacked washer/dryer, and all heated tile floor. So happy with our choice!! Larry and Linda Vandehoef

I have an awesome 2007 Affinity.  Unfortunately, I need to put her on the market in Sept.  Let me know if you're interested.  Less than 20k miles and about as perfect as they come.

Cheers,
Scott

I've had my affinity for 2 years.  Don't know where 6 days comes from.

Cheers,

Hi Dennis

I have not heard of any significant electrical problems with the coaches you mention. The coaches did continue to get more complicated with gadgets every year and most of those items had electrical component's. Our 08 has inteletec lighting, electric shades, integrated remote controls, heated floor,3 zone ac, led lighting, silverleaf total coach and on and on. I have had no problems that didn't end up really being user error. I have heard some say quality went down in the later years but I honestly can say I have never personally seen it. The 08 chassis will have disk brakes all around which I wanted. Some 09 coaches came with the 650 hp cummins which I would be a little leery of since there have been some documented failures .I am a country coach fan and have had an 05 and an 08. Both machines have impressed me in the quality of construction and componants. Study the machines and take a look at histoy on damon rapozos site. It will show the upgrades over the years. Also I would recommend staying away from the emission engines that require def. This came in 08 mid year. Post any questions. rod
