We just purchased and had installed (by OMC in Eugene Oregon) a new Samsung residential refrigerator and was wondering if it was ok to run the frig at a 30 plus degree slope over night? Our driveway is pretty steep and we usually bring the coach down to the house the night before we leave to aid in the last minute things we put in the morning we leave. We also plug the coach in so it has shore power for its over night stay. Would any of you have any thoughts on this.

Thank You,

Ken,

I am not an expert re: Samsung, but it seems to me that the unit should operate fine at an angle as it is a compressor driven system. But, wow, 30 degrees is an extremely severe slope! Anyway, I am imagining that the ice maker should be de-activated. The ice cube molding chambers would probably overflow and create an awful frozen mess of icicles.
If I were you, I would contact Samsung for more definitive advice.
