I had a 98, and now have a 2004, and I can assure you it's true. The 2004 does not have a beam front suspension. It doesn't have undersized tires. It doesn't have plastic pins in ride height valves. It doesn't have C8.3 engines. It doesn't have Allison transmissions that go clunk. It doesn't have Zip dees that bang your head. It's ride height valves are not reversed. It's not 1000 lbs heavier on the left front tire. It is not under tired. It is quieter on the road, the furnace doesn't keep you up all night, you can acess the storage bays without crawling on your knees, some of us have slide out generators. You don't have to listen to or feel vibrations from the generator as you travel. We have smart steering wheels. We have split heater and air controls. We both share the best entry in the rv world. We have heated floors. We have rear slides. We have more advanced slide mechanisms, that don't potrude into the storage below, or yaw as they come in and out and brake off the wood trim facia. We don't have gelcoat finish, that fails and turns to chalk, we don't have etc, etc etc. What we all do have is that we share a heritage of striving to build a better mouse trap.
And, I will admit sometimes when we go forward sometimes we have to step back a bit and regroup. Come on guys, guit complaining, a new year is at hand, and we all are supposed to be having fun. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you all in Tucson, or Albuquerque! TWI Intrigue 11731, 2004/ Allure 30255,98

Sorry for the senior moment. My post should have said a 2004 Inspire is not the coach a '98 Intrigue was. I inspected the Inspire at the factory in June & nothing about it made me want one.
