Both with the 325 Cummins. What are the major differences between the two?

Thanks

I had a '97 Intrigue and can tell you the differences with a '98 Allure are cosmetic, but important. Most important, I believe, as that I understand the '98 Allure is not clear coated unless the previous owner ordered it that way. THis can result in early deteriation of the gelcoat. Also, most of the Allures of that era I've seen have chrome wheel covers rather than aluminum wheels. The latter can be of benefit because you can rotate tires without breaking them all down as you have to do with the unreversable aluminum wheels. There are some other minor differences such as a cheaper looking stove, but the drive train is the same in both coaches.

Without getting out the old brouchures, The later 98 Allures had Isc 330 engines, water heat off the engine, fewer color choices outside, oak interior only until after March when walnut was added. Metal exterior below the beltline. The interior wood work was not all 3/4 in, only the facia. Choices of faucets and plumbing hardware were optional on Allures and standard on Intrigues. Intrigues were guieter and I'm not sure when clearcoat was applied, but it was sooner on the Intrigue. Insulated dual pane windows were optional on Allures. The front nose cap etc was different. Storage door hardware was different. Leather interiors and choice of sofas and seating were better on Intrigues. I think they had Koni shocks and I know Allures had Monroes. Electronics, TV's radios were standard on Intrigues and extra on Allures. Power seats on both sides were an option on Allures. The chassis manuals were the same if you had the same engine. Intrigues could have wood floors, snack tray and a safe. Both had tire issues. You want 275R80 X 22.5. Maybe Intrigues had Aluminum wheels. 36' Allures were a few inches longer. That's all I can remember, my spec sheets are not at my finger tips. TWI Allure 30255 98, Intrigue 2004 11731
