Hello folks.  I'm having an issue with my air-only leveling system (no jacks).  The left front side will not raise on my 2003 Country Coach Allure #30856. When pressing the raise button for the left side,  I have DC power to the left front raise solenoid but hear no "clicking" when 12 volts is applied.  I took the solenoid off and applied 12 volts and the magnet seemed weak to me,  but it also seemed weak on the dump solenoid above it that is working. I can get air in the LF air bag by pressing the "RAISE"  (whole coach) button with engine running (travel mode) . My questions is; has anyone seen the magnets on these solenoids fail? I might disassemble the valve to try and clean/loosen it up.  TIA.

Swap it with another position and see if the issue moves with it.

I think an important issue to note is that the system will not raise just a corner. It will raise or lower a side or an end, but not a corner. Working a corner at a time would twist the coach and that would be a very bad thing. I believe you have proven this particular solenoid/air valve is operational when you raised the entire coach with the "raise" function. I think you have a problem in the HWH controller.

Larry,

we had 2 issues with our HWH. The first was that the ride height light wouldn't stay on.
The second issue was that the left rear dropped.

We went to HWH in Moscow IA for the first issue and they replaced some valves.  It took them 2 whole days to find the problem. Seems the valves "stick" and cause intermittent problems.  While we were there they rebuilt our control box and upgraded the software.  We were very happy with their service.

The second issue was also a valve intermittent problem. Replaced it and no more problems. Seems that between HWH and Alliance Coach in FL all the valves have been replaced.

Seems like your issues is more like our 2nd issue.

Have you tried to call HWH?  I heard it takes them 2 weeks to return calls this time of year.

Larry :

I had could not level problem . Could not rise or  lower the RT front however all was well when the system went to travel mode.  I ordered a new valve  and when I pulled the raise valve for  the RT front, to replace it I found deep inside the that a MUDDOBBER had filled  the valve . cleaned inside put  SI grease on the o ring all was fine.

Thanks Lonny and all.  I called HWH and in the three week callback que.  I also sent them an email. When we get back to FL,  I'm going to remove and inspect/clean the valve and swap solenoids. Maybe HWH wil have some words of wisdom.  The reason I can fill the LF bag with "RAISE" in travel mode is because the TM is a separate system that uses different solenoids and valves.
