Hi All,
Here for your thoughts please regarding some needs of my 2007 CC Tribute:
1. Need to replace TV, it's non-responsive to remote and local RV shop investigated, said time to go. Do you have any 'must have' or 'must avoid' advice before I research models? Local shop states will remove old unit and install the new one.
2. The latch and cables that allow the generator compartment to open
appear to be freezing badly. When the coach was in for gen set oil change last week it took 2 guys to open the compartment and they recommended replacing latch & cables. I've communicated with Kevin Waite and he does not have the part, I've put in a call to Country Coach per his recommendation and no call back yet, will try again today. Does anyone have experience replacing this part and can you give any words of wisdom regarding it?
Thanks in Advance!

Carrie,
I replaced the original Panasonic TV in my 2005 Inspire with a 39" Visio LED TV. it was a relatively easy change out. It's been working great for the last two years now.
I think as long as you find a set that will fit in your existing opening and it's LED you will be fine.

we replaced our front TV with a Samsung Smart TV. We measured the width of the cabinet to the outside of the frame and that's the size TV we went with. We had them flush mount it flat against the existing cabinet as close to the ceiling as we could get. Then they installed black mesh grill at the bottom to hide the wires. They removed the cabinet frame, cut it to fit the bottom, flipped it so the red-eye opening was at the bottom and reattached the frame underneath the TV. Alliance Coach in Wildwood FL did the install and they did a great job.

Our coach TVs had previously been replaced with LEDs (32") but we encountered some trouble with the switcher box that caused me to remove the TVs quite a few times to solve the problem. Since the space behind the TVs was wasted, I decided to mount the TVs and the related trim on panio Hinges. Secured the opening end with the same cabinet latches used throughout the coach. I use the space to store my coach manuals and related material.

Can't help with generator issue but we replaced both of the original Sharp TV's with a 40" Samsung up front and a 39" Visio in the bedroom.
TV's are so much lighter these days it was pretty easy.
