I have to replace the shower faucet in my 98 Intrigue. The faucet is in the shower sidewall to the slide side so there is no access on the back side. I removed the handles and cover and the faucet appears to be siliconed to the shower enclosure. Before I remove the silicone was wondering if anyone knows how the faucet is mounted to the sidewall? is the silicone what keeps it fastened to the wall ? Just asking before I screw something up, I broke off the fitting for the hose itself and both screws holding the handles on were rusted and broke also. If I could get new cold and hot cartridges I could just rebuild the present faucet and replace the broken fitting if I could get the parts and not have to remove the faucet body itself.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What model do you have? We have a 98 Intrigue Tiara. Faycet access is from under the stove in thekitchen. I've replaced it twice, both times purchased for a RV accessory store.

I have a slide, the stove and cabinets all slide out. So there is no access. I have mirrors on the kitchen side.
