We're traveling to Florida this winter and are going to make a stop in New Orleans for a week or so and was wondering if anyone could give me a good recommendation on where to stay. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Craig,

You might take a look the the KOA. It's only a few miles west of town.

New Orleans West KOA was a great place for our 1 week stay.  Easy drive to the city.
