This post is intended for owners of '03-04-05 Intrigues with the driver side slide that drops down as it extends.  Ours has started making a squealing metal-on-metal noise when the slide is extended.  Some slide lube made it better for a while but its back.  It seems to be coming from the roller that rides on the bracket under the pantry next to the fridge.  TWI mentioned in a post that he had to replace a bearing.  If anyone has any information like cause and how hard it is to fix I would appreciate it.  The slide has to come out at least 10 more times before we get back to Tucson.

Also wanted to mention that the fall color in Mass and New York is spectacular.

Well have you seen any graphite on your carpet under the tracks?  My first warning was picking up a few small bearings by the vacuum cleaner using the crevice tool attachment near the edge of the room when it was fully extended.  Later on upon close examination I found some more bearing in the carpet and that's when I quit using the slide room after emptying the pantry cabinets.  It took Eric's guys 3 hours to replace the bearings.  They should be able to do yours faster.  TWI 2004 Intrigue 11731
