Can anyone tell me what the actual measured overall lengths of the 32 and 36 foot Allure and Intrigue models in 2001-2004 are? Also, how does one use a search function on this site? Russ LaRose

Any body notice a trend here.  My 42' Intrigue measures 42' 11 " and my 36' 98 Allure measured 37' 2" .  There was a time, however, when California was limiting coach length to under 40'  for a lot of the roads and drivers having a standard drivers license.  CC built 40' coaches that were a fraction of an inch under 40'to satisfy the law. .    It was a real 3 ring circus.  Dealers could sell coaches over 40' long, but Californians couldn't buy them.  I know it was all worked out but don't remember the in's and outs of the story.  I was stopped one time in California, but it was as a warning for a dead running light.  The officer asked if I was over 65' long, I wasn't, but he never said anything about the fact I was pushing 43 ft in length.  TWI 2004 Intrigue 11731.

CA allows up to 45' single rig and overall combined 65', if you are a CA resident you can use your standard license up to 40' over that you need a class B non-commercial. Been this way for many years now.
There are roads that over 40' units are not allowed on still and for good reason.

My 2004 Allure is advertised at 33'.  Just an FYI; I haven't bothered to get out a tape and see if it's really 33'12".
