Has anyone replaced the Flojet 4406-143 pump? The pumps with the same number appear to be larger than the pump in my coach, will a Shurflo pump fit n place of the Flojet pump?
I have found several Flojet pumps with the same number but their dimensions appear to be larger than the original pump even though the part number is the same.
I am attaching a copy of a photo of my current pumps document showing drawing with pump dimensions.
Thanks for your help.

As long as you get a pump that will fit in the same place as your old one and has the same GPW's or more than yours then any brand of pump you get will work.

I just replaced our pump, Flojet 04406-143A, with a replacement of the same model and it appeared to be the same size. Had to disconnect several lines to get it out and new one in, but worked out great and NO leaks. Got the new one from Amazon for $78.21 + tax in November.

Tom, there is a 4406-143 Type IV and a less expensive 4406-143A which appears to be a lighter version of the -143 pump. The one installed in my in mine is the -143 Type IV, I am trying to determine what the difference other than price. Amazon has -143 Type IV for $112 while the -143A is listed for around $78.
As to how it failed, mine was rattling and running longer than usual so I must have other problems which caused it to finally burn out, so a simple adjustment of the pressure cutout switch might have fixed it had I known about that.
Kevin, mine is a tight fit and many appear to be 2 inches longer according to their online description, also curious if they ship with a new screen filter. Also wondering if I can slide a clip to remove the quick disconnect fittings or if I have to unscrew fittings.
The photo I attached shows the quick connect fittings, mine appear to be that Type with a slide to release them.
Thanks for the info.

Update, I ordered the cheaper -143A Flojet pump (https://www.amazon.com/Flojet-Pumps-04300-143A-Pump/dp/B00E5USCDS/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1497121843&sr=1-1&keywords=143A+Flojet+pump) on Amazon, the one which is shown as a Quad II, for around $79.00 on Amazon Prime. They actually shipped the -143, Quad IV so it isn't nec scary to order the more expensive model. Appears that Flojet has combined the -143 and -143A into a single model now.
Easy remove and install and is working fine.
