Is anyone using the Silverleaf VMSpc Software running on a PC? I'm thinking of buying the cables and setting it up - but want to know if you need to have programmer level skills to set it up. I'm comfortable with Windows and Mac OS, but am not a programmer.

I have it in my 2008 Tribute 260, and upgraded to their latest software last summer. I pickaxes a cheap dedicated windows 10.0 laptop at Walmart for about $120.00, and set it up myself. Works well and I am happy and would highly recommend it to all. I did spend a lot of time configuring the gauge layout to what seems to work best for me.

I am using the VMSpc and have for the past 8 years. The VMSpc utilizes the Windows operating system. The installation is easy and does not require programing knowledge. If you have a problem, a phone call to Silverleaf will resolve the issue, tech support is great.

No programming skills required. It is, what computer people call, "highly configurable". Fortunately it's easy to establish and change the configuration of the display. I bought an ASUS 10" with Windows 7 off eBay and dedicated it to the Silverleaf. It's a great device and I'd hate to have to drive the coach without it.

Here's a link to my installation. As has been suggested, I bought a 12VDC charger and tapped into the back side of the cigarette lighter to run it. That keeps the wiring out of sight and still allows the cigarette lighter socket to be used for other things.

Thanks! I'm going to order the kit that connects to the engine and get the software. I have an old touchscreen Windows Computer that I'm going to retask. We'll see how it goes.

I have also been using it for years. I have an inspire with the factory installed swivel trey that comes standard on the 2006 Inspire,  and just use a large rubber band to hold it in place. Works great.
