Today I checked on the coach parked in the driveway. One of my kids pulled the extension cord out of the outlet, and the battery's discharged. I plugged it back in and it didn't start charging. So I started the coach and the generator, and the charging system read "charging".

I left the generator run for 90 minutes, and when I turned it off, the charge light went off and the inverter light lit up.

The outlet works, I triple checked it, and the extension cord is working as well.

Does the battery need to be charged to a certain level with the generator before the electric can take over?

Electric never was my forte.

Open your left side closet door and check the lights on the surge protector. It should be visible through a plexiglass cover on the left inside wall of the closet. There is also a delay before it will reset if it has been tripped. The amount of time delay should be stated on the surge protector. Also check the ground fault outlet/s in the coach.
