Our Hurricane Heating has worked just fine since we have had our coach. Now, with really cold weather, it stopped with a "blown fuse" fault in the Control Box. I replaced the 10 amp fuse (2nd fuse for the main operating components) with a new fuse.
It worked for a few minutes and then quit again with the same "blown fuse" fault. ANY SUGGESTIONS ??? (A fellow CC owner suggested I put in a higher amp (15)fuse ?

Don,
we are currently experiencing a "blown fuse" indicator and Hurricane shut down. There are no blown fuses and the bleed valve has been used but the unit continues to shut down. We really rely on this furnace when dry camping- bummer. I you find a solution please post it or call, thanks,

Don,
There are a lot of prior posts on Hurricane problems. Not everyone seems to have the same set up.
In my 02 Intrigue 11379 the Hurricane is only a furnace. It is not the same as 02 Intrigue 11480 (pictures posted in Hurricane folder this site) who's owner is also "Rob". The "flame out" problems may be the same but I'm hoping the "coolant" issues are not. Someone pleae step in on this- I'm simply looking at pictures on a coach a few serial numbers from mine and there's a big difference.

Rob Roper,
The Intrigue #11480 is mine. Looking at the pictures, what seems to be different? I did make some modifications per Rixen's (previous Hurricane distributor).
