where do you safely place the lift jack on the front end of an Intrigue with independent suspension? On the frame between the control arms, or where the the control arms connect to the frame?

on my magna I place the jack about in inch from the tire and lift at the control are. If im not removing the wheel I place blocking under the center where the control arms mount to the frame and lower the coach. This leaves only the weight of the suspension to lift.
