FYI Koni has just come out with a new Super Duty shock for the front end of my 2007 470 42 foot Allure and other coaches it is a non adjustable but it is super duty and design for the heavy front ends of the country coaches I worked With Koni And received a set of these new shocks 3 weeks ago they are everything the coach should have had from the factory I believe they will be going on sale January 2016 By the way I had Road King Shocks On the front had them revalved several times and just are no goodFor the motorhome application

Just a second opinion.... I've had Road Kings on our 2007 Inspire for over 4 years now and I am very happy with them. Don't know what your complaint is with them? Took a trip to Alaska with the Road Kings and didn't bottom out once. We even traveled the Top of the World Hwy. That's saying a lot if you've been on that trip! Not saying Koni is a bad shock because they aren't. Just sayin, there is more than one way to skin a cat. Just a note, an Inspire is a lot lighter than an Allure Tag axle coach Where the tag will make the front end bounce I also travel a lot and often at 65 MPH. I spent time at King shocks plant and as an engineer worked with them in an attempt to have the shocks work with better control. They're larger shock isn't adaptable to my coach and with 2 out of 3 ports closed off they still weren't controlling enough and failed as well. These shocks are off-road light vehicle competition shocks and rebuilt constantly after competition runs. These new Konis' are very stout and control well under light load and yet have the dampening control as well under heavy compression. I have the Road kings on my rear and they work OK, however there are 4 shocks on the rear. By the way the new Konis are from Holland unlike in 2008-09 when they had temporarily gone to China with the Gold shocks (junk)

Brian

What's the part number of the new front shock? I assume that the rear part number is still 88051013.

Thanks

Checking the Koni website, they only list the SP3 shock for the front and the FSD for the rear (Allure/Intrigue). I installed their SP3's on the front and have them adjusted one setting from full firm (4 of 5) and they seem to do well.
