Hello we are looking to get our 2005 country coach service... Does anybody know of anybody that is great at working on country coach? I heard about five years ago it was country boys up from Junction city ?? Maybe two different businesses... One for the coach and the engine ?? We live in central California . Thank you!!

For a full service shop, it is hard to beat Oregon Motorcoach in the Eugene/Junction City area . http://www.oregonmotorcoachcenter.com/

The group in Oregon and Premier in Tucson are the only two on the west coast I would ever think of going too! We have used Eric for the last 6-8 years with great success. I see many others on this board saying how great they were treated. Besides, the weather in Tucson is much better....

Depends on what you want done.

Cummins in El Cajon, Specialty RV in Aurora OR, Oregon Coach in Jct City. I think Bob Vinson is in Indio for the winter.

Anyone know what is going on at Country Coach in Jct City since Winnebago bought it, or has the sale not closed? DavidW

You might be thinking of Bob Vinson who works out of Palm Springs area in the winter months. He is from Junction City. Hopefully, someone here can post his contact info.

For the Southeast:

We use Speedco in Lake Park GA for oil changes.

We use Tampa Spring in Ocala and Tampa FL for heavy duty chassis work: brakes, alignments, air bags, suspension, etc

We bought tires from Olin Mott in Tampa FL on FMCA plan.

We use Cummins in Ocala FL for engine, radiator, generator, cooling system, etc. They are also a Cummins Coach Care facility and can do other RV work.

We use Alliance Coach in Wildwood FL for RV related things like refrigerator, Hydro Hot (Aqua Hot) service, windshield, awnings, TV satellite, HWH leveling, slide outs, etc.

I have all of my service done at Premier RV in Junction City. Right next door to Country Coach and owned by two former CC'ers, Gary Obermire and Louie Courtemache. Great service, indoor storage, and used inventory for sale. I've never had a complaint in the years I've been doing business with them. In addition, they're great people!

I've used Triple T for chassis related (US Hwy 421 N, Wilmington, NC) and Howard RV for house work, (N Market St., Wilmington, NC). I've had good results at both locations.

I'll put in my vote for Oregon Motor coach Service center. Jim Cooley and Dave Remington and now Matt Carr as Manager are part of the foundation for Bob and Terry Lee's service company. They do it all but transmission and engine, which they sub contract, to Cummins NW and Allison in Cohburg. It was a seamless experience when the lift pump, and engine brake were found to be leaking, and Allison sent Gary over to inspect the transmission and check programming after the radiator had to be replaced due to cross contamination of the coolants. Genset repairs were handled very efficiently without having to wait for an appointment at Cummins NW. TWI 2004Intrigue 11731.

We've had good luck at Premier RV in Junction City, OR. Premier RV (http://www.premierrvservices.com/) Also good service at Cummins Northwest in Coburg and Peterson CAT in Eugene.
For brakes, suspension, and wheel alignment, Kaiser Brake and Alignment in Eugene. Home (http://kaiserbrakealignment.com/)

Wyatt's Tire in Eugene is coach savvy Wyatt's Tire Co. :: Eugene OR Tires & Auto Repair Shop (http://www.wyattstire.com)

You'd be hard pressed to find a better concentration of shops and people servicing motor homes in general and Country Coach in particular, than in the Eugene-Junction City Oregon area.

In the Phoenix Arizona area we like RV Renovators in Mesa. RV Repair, Service & Warranty | Motorhome Repair | RV Renovators (http://rvrenovators.com/) They replaced an Aqua Hot in our former coach and just finished replacing the transfer switch in this coach.

We too have had great service and follow-up at Oregon Motor Coach. Quality work, knowledgable staff. IMO, as they are to first to start up post CC days, Bob Lee ended up with the best tech's from CC.

I've heard great things about Butch Williams too.

And while I have heard great things about Bob Vinson, and called him for work we wanted accomplished while he was South for the winter in the Palm Springs area. I elected to move on, after two or three times of Bob not getting back with on items. (May have been just a fumble, this happens, and he has a good rep. But when I'm getting ready to spend some serious coin on work, I really also depend on good communication as part of the decision process. For me, this time, I feel it did not happen.)

Kevin Waite also good ability to do many things on CC's, as well as being the 'Go to guy' for parts, especially the hard to find parts:)!

Best to all,

Smitty

In early January, I had a slide that would not retract. I called Bob Vinson for help. Fortunately, Bob was still in Junction City, getting ready to go to the Palm Springs area for the winter.

Bob was willing to travel 300 miles, each way, to my site to fix the slide. I was right across the street from Poulsbo RV but really didn't want them working on my coach. I was concerned they would misdiagnosis the problem and compound the issue. After Bob fixed the problem, I was happy I didn't have to use Paulsbo RV.

Very few, if any, qualified techs are willing to travel. Bob was efficient in diagnosing the problem and doing the repair. I asked Bob why he was willing to help me out. When a Country Coach owner can't drive, Bob said he'll make every effort to help. Bob's charges for this 16 hour day were more than fair. I am very appreciative he was willing to help out.

I've had Bob previously do other work for me, including installing a TV and repairing ride-height valves while in Palm Springs. His work has been as expected from an experienced Country Coach tech.

On this board recently I saw Smitty called Bob last year and Bob didn't return his call. I mentioned this to Bob. He said at the end of the 2015 Palm Springs season, he was completely swamped. Bob said he "blew it" with Smitty and is working to return phone calls on a timely basis. I noticed he talked to several customers while working on our coach.
