After removing my door panel on my 09 Allure to do some preventive maintenance I discovered a small button, electrical I believe, that is not visible when the panel is in place. It is located behind the door lever assembly and can be actuated by removing a small black plug on the interior door lever face plate if you will. Does anyone know what the button is for? Possibly an override for the power lock? Any info would be helpful! Thanks!

Thanks Bob! Never thought of that. I'll pull my "tub" of manuals out and look thru it!

I think it is your programming button for the security system.

It is the alarm "learn" button.
