Talked to an alignment shop yesterday and they said I would see excessive wear on the front tires if I but the toe that much in. Can enjoined who has set their toe in that much give me some feedback on what kind of wear they have seen. I have an appointment next week to get the toe cked and set if needed.

What measurement are you giving them?

3/16 seems to work the best. Remember the toe in reduces as the vehicle moves.

On my 05 Inspire I have set the toe in to 3/16". I have driven 11,000 miles since I set the toe in to 3/16". So far I have not noticed any excessive tire wear. Since our tires typically age out before we wear them out I'm ok with a little more outside edge wear. My Michelin XZA3 tires are now 5 years old and still look like new after 30k miles.
The additional toe in has made a BIG improvement in wandering, actually it's eliminated.
