Our 2001 Allure, with the super slide (32') was purchased 2 years ago and the upholstery looked pristine and the leather looks in great shape. The sofa, however has fabric that started pulling apart-but NOT at the seams. Do any of you have experience or opinions on this. We already switched out the european chair and ottoman with a lazyboy in order to eleminate the ottoman.

my brother in law had an older Foretravel and removed the sofa and took it to an upholstery shop. The shop told them how much fabric to purchase and they went to a fabric warehouse and choose the fabric. The shop did a beautiful job. He had help removing the sofa and reinstalling it. It was a jackknife sofa which is maybe easier to remove and reinstall. Maybe someone on this forum can tell you whether the sofa can be dismantled before removal. The reupholster was much cheaper than buying a new sofa. Don't remember how much he paid. He lives in Florida.

Late last year I replaced our P/S jack knife sofa with duel wall hugger recliners from Clay Madison. They fit perfect, are very comfortable and look great.
