Hi All,

I am looking to do a floating floor in my 2003 County Coach Allure 40 Tag Axle. I have Rubber on the stairs, tile in the entrance, Bathroom, and kitchen and Carpet what you would call dinning room, and bedroom.
Here is what I got so far, 3/8 thick is what I was told to match tile. I want to float it. Here are my problem I see, What to do with the stairs? The electric floor that comes out and covers the stairs. The sides look hard to pull carpets and put wood. I might need to some how take that moveable floor out to get carpet out and wood on the sides.
The slides can be tricky, Any advice? I hear floor under driver to leave carpet or do rubber as it is thin.

What about engine cover?

If anyone has done it themselves please chime in...

Thanks a bunch
Bob
