Was camping this weekend and lost the front air... Back air is fine. Found a capacitor leaking on top in the front unit ...will replace it but do not know if it will correct the problem. Zone one screen is blank....will not appear...zone 2 is ok and unit works. All breakesr are ok and have power at front unit....any ideas... Also little fuse on top in unit 1 is good.

Gary.........Had the same thing happen to one of mine several years ago. You can be assured it IS the capacitor. Easy fix. Good luck.

On my Dometic Penguin II's, there are two capacitors. A start and a run. These can be ordered directly from Dometic and an easy DIY project. The thermostat will probably need reprogrammed after the repair.
