I just wanted to share with you all an experience I had with bad power in my storage facility, and what it did to my coach. I returned to storage and plugged the coach into the normal 120/20 amp outlet I always use for charging. While I was away, some new tenants moved into the garages adjacent to me, and we were all on same circuit. The circuit breaker did not blow, and I was reading 105 volts in coach. The transfer switch, surge protector, inverters were all banging and buzzing, terrible noises. I blew the "kill-a-watt" outlet where I was plugged into, and read 25-30 amp draw on each leg in coach. I immediately unplugged, called the manager and complained. The next day, they moved a 50 amp outlet box for me so I could plug in, and I thought that would be the end of it. Wrong. After plugging into good power, weird things were still happening in coach. I also saw high amp readings on SilverLeaf Total Coach Monitor. And things would turn on/off, like microwave clock... Luckily, I pushed the "Test" buttons on the 3 GFI circuit breakers in my coach, and they all went off and would not come back on. I replaced all 3 of them, and everything is fine now. So bad GFI's can have symptoms elsewhere than just those outlets on their circuits. Whether you have GFI circuit breakers or outlets, probably the same results would occur, so check your GFI's early in troubleshooting strange electrical issues in coach.
