Hopefully, someone can help me. I have a 2006 Intrigue and can't get my autogenstart to work. It's set to autostart at 12.2 volts and has worked before. I can't get it to work. It runs off the silverleaf. I've gone through the setup and everything looks right. Hopefully it is something simple.

There were a lot of problems with the Silverleaf software pertaining to the Auto-Gen start. I would start by talking to the boys at Silverleaf

There is a generator relay behind the speedo in dash. You should hear that click for on and click for off. You can easily hear it through dash. If you need to remove dash, it is just held on with Velcro, very easy to remove. That was my problem. I removed it, sent it to Silverleaf, they rebuilt it, works fine now.

Hmmmm... maybe I'm off base here, but my 2008 Country Coach had a magnum inverter as does my 2010 Tiffin bus. The bus also has silverleaf, but the autogenstart is governed in the magnum inverter control panel as it was in my 08 country coach. My control panel has an AGS button, and I press that and then cycle thru the settings - and I have mine set to 12.2v and to run for two hours.

Magnum generator controller probably works better than Silverleaf. One of the problems with Silverleaf software was that the Silverleaf doesn't check to see if there is shore voltage before trying to start the generator when there's demand from low voltage or thermostat function. I put in a separate relay to disconnect the Silverleaf autogen start function if there was shore power. Silverleaf knows about this problem but didn't have a Shore power line to perform the task. I have dogs and wanted to be sure if I lost Shore power and the thermostat called for air conditioning the generator would start. Now it works fine

Yes being sure the A/C stays on for the dog(s) when it's hot is a key issue. I was always annoyed by the fact that everytime I plugged into shore power I had to remember to reset the AGS to autostart. It would not restart automatically... finally I emailed Magnum about this and they replied :

"Typically we see the AGS revert back to disabled when it has lost power or communication to the inverter. When you plug in to Shore power, are you disconnecting the batteries at all?" (the answer to that was no, never)

"Another thing you can try is pressing the AGS button, scroll to AGS Tech, press the Select Knob, and turn the knob until you see "AGS Mode:" Change this to "other". With it in RV Mode, it will prevent the AGS from turning on with AC input connected and this could be the hiccup you're experiencing."

This second tip solved the problem and now it is ALWAYS set to kick in.

We have discovered a product call a RV Nanny It monitors power, temperature , noise, and motion

It sends a status report at 12:00 every day. or you can query by texting "Status" at any time It has its own "sim" card. You end up knowing the pets/coach condition. We have used it for over 5 years and it is very reassuring Bob 06 Intrigue 12047 I 'm not a fan of auto control for people or pet security
