So after 6 years of flawless operation, I go to bring in the slide yesterday and for some unknown reason, it cam in crooked. It was about half way in before I noticed this and saw it binding up. I stopped and tried to extend it back out. One side went back to a fully extended position, but the other is still about 12 inches inside the coach. I went outside to see if something had gotten lodged under the slide. I didn't see anything, but noticed hydraulic fluid puddling up on the ground at the end of one of the rams.
I did some research and talked to a former CC service rep. The idea was to back off the T valves on the hydraulic solenoids to release the pressure and try to pull the offending end of the slide out to get it even before manually retracting it back in.
I bought a 4000 pound come-along and anchored to my truck hitch. I carefully wrapped the other end around the frame under the slide. I put quite a bit of pressure on it and couldn't get it to budge. Any suggestions?
