Does anyone have a recommendation for an LED replacement for the 20 or so PUC lights that light up the interior cabin lights? The 10 watt halogen bulbs burn out too often. A good supplier would be nice also.

Kevin I have been looking for some time for an LED for my reading lights standard G4 halogen replacement in my Allure 2007 470 Can't seem to find an equivalent to the 20 watt halogen that is the same color and dimmable that you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for. Any suggestion

Are they on a dimmable circuit

Again I have multiplex lighting and these circuits are dimmable so for me I want the 20 watt version many of the LED lights are not true Warm White like the halogen and are also not dimmable so for this reason I'm looking for someone who is tried an LED in one of the dimmable circuits

Call Candela !! They have great customer service and can probably help you out !! Thing is they only sell standard cartons, usually ten !!

The ones I used were not dimmable, but I believe they offer those. Probably best to talk to them to get the right ones. I think the warm white is like the halogen I replaced. I think they were about $10 each though, but will outlast you in the coach...

You will find that dimmable or not, if the LED's do not have a voltage regulator, they will burn out from the charge cycles. Without that, when it says 12 volts, they mean 12 volts. Some do have this, like the M4 products, but they are a lot more expensive. Anybody finds inexpensive ones that have a voltage regulator let me know.

The LED thing is a nightmare. I have bought probably a hundred LEDs and they either have a blue hue or too bright or Flickr and a lot of them are not dimmable. I have chosen not to put LEDs in my dimmable circuits for fear multiplexers will have a problem. You just can't get straight answers about the issue

I have replaced all of my ceiling lights, including the fluorescent with M4 products in the ceiling of my 09 Allure and am in the process to replace the sconce lights and soffits. The M4 products may be a little more expensive but they are quality bulbs and the service from these folks are the best!! Call them and they will get you going in the right direction.

I replaced my Thinlite florescents with the M4 product it is excellent. They have voltage regulators in their products so the bulbs are not affected when charging the batteries and the voltage goes up to close to 15 volts which will burn out LEDs without voltage regulators. I don't want to think however what it would cost to replace all the Park lights and Spotlight halogens with M4 bulbs.

I have 12 thin lite M4 LEDs, along with 24 other ceiling lights, in my Allure and they work great and the coach is much cooler!
