I recently installed a 28" flat screen in our 2004 Allure. I mounted shelf brackets on a base that slides into the enclosure. The platform is secured with angles that are screwed into the back of the enclosure. the TV had to elevated enough to allow access to the angles. Attached are pictures of the mounting platform and the final installation.

We can not get any TV since everything went digital. Flat screen looks like the way to go. Any suggestions you have would be appreciated.

A $45 converter from Walmart will convert the digital signals to analog so that you can display on your analog TV.

Not sure where your located but at my shop we upgrade TV's. Most common way is to remove the existing TV cabinet box or the entire front face frame, build a new TV box and install. Normally we re-use the existing doors on each side even if we move them outward to accommodate the new size TV. We've always used the 32" as the go to size for the last 10+ years but now currently the 40's especially the sony's are now becoming the go to size.. Also always try to incorporate a sound bar under the TV, even if we're hooking the surround sound back up. Gives a complete finished look, the soundbar's (most) turn on and off with the TV with volume control with the TV remote and/or the satellite remote, and easy to Bluetooth in your phone for just music.

I purchased a 32 in Smart TV for the Front and 28" for the Bedroom at Fry's Electronics, while in south Phoenix. . Eric's boys in Tucson built a hindged door for the TV's to mount to with two 10 lb latches. The HDmi cable from the DVD player connects as does the RF cable. The set will automatically switch from analog to digital RF as required. The installation took 4 hours per set. The Walnut they used matches perfectly. I use all the space behind to store odds and ends. Winter clothes go behind the bed room TV. TWI 2004 Intrigue 11731

OMC installed a 46 in Samsung in our 2006 Allure without any change to the original box or the side cabinets. Don't know if the 2004 is the same.
