We are on the road for our first trip, and the drivers seat massage quit working all of the other power functions continue to work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Welcome, you have entered an area call the Country Coach zone. It lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. My first trip ended with a $700.00 tow bill and $3,600.00 for a PTO rebuild and a new hydraulic power steering/fan pump.

Since you have power to the seat most likely you will need a new switch or motor. This group is a good place to get repair shop referrals. Post your location and you will probably get one or two.

I'm very interested in seeing where this goes. I have an 04 Allure and the passenger seat has been inop for about a year. Had my local place look at it and said it needs a motor or a seat. They contacted CC and was told nothing they can do and the original vendor is out of business.

Hi John,

You probably have already checked this, but there is a switch on the side of the controller that will lock out all of the functions. Also, I have a tendency to get the controller cord caught in my seat belt and managed to break a wire.

Also, the wires under the seat can break or become unconnected fairly easily. Scott added to their length so that was no longer an issue..

On my 2003 intrigue there is a 20 amp inline fuse that control the vibrate functions functions of the seat. I think it is a red wire. If you get down and look under the seat you should be able to find it. I had the same problem and the fuse was blown. Replaced it and everything worked fine.

Allen, thank you for the pictures.

Unfortunately, DW says I would have to have them reupholstered just due to color.

Perhaps someone else will be able to use them.

Wonder if they would work in a 2004 33' Allure (#31035...see how cleverly I include the signature in the message). Hah!

The seat has a flat base that mounts with four bolts to the floor. Should fit any model or year coach with a flat floor. Base is metal so you could drill matching holes if your bolts are in a different configuration.
