Our pocket door near the fridge won't slide all the way in so that we can lock it in place. It goes in about 3/4 of the way and then stops. Seems to be hung up on something. We put something in front of it while driving today so that it didn't slide in and out while going around curves. Any ideas on what could be keeping it from sliding all of the way in and allowing us to latch it at the bottom.

Adjust the two screws on top of the door upward to give it clearance to close

There are guides that the door hangs from with nut adjusters on top. Get up there with a flash light and figure out which one needs to be adjusted...

I helped a gent with a similar problem a few years ago. We ended up removing the door, and then examining the pocket itself, found some debris had worked it's way into the pocket area. Coat hanger removal, door re-hung, and good to go...
Good luck to you,

I agree with Smitty. Also, have you installed anything on either side of the pocket door? Put a screw or nail into the wall? Common mistake when installing trim, baseboard, pictures ect.
