This might be a long shot to find a Country Coach that meet's my friend's parameters including the price, but I thought I would take a shot anyway. He is looking for something to live in full-time with his wife and occasional kid visits, ready to purchase immediately, and is willing to travel anywhere in the US to look at a good candidate coach. He has had bad luck with sellers misrepresenting their sale, and finding many with undisclosed water damage or major problems.
Here are the specifications he is wanting:

"Under $70k. Class A motorhome. Not older than 2002. 38+ feet long. Three or four slides. Diesel. Two couches or at least a couch and a drop down dinette. Generator. 2 ACs. Full body paint. Not white or green on the outside. Queen bed in back. No light wood inside. Honey oak or darker. Darker is better. Hydraulic leveling jacks. Auto is even better."

If anyone knows of a coach of any brand for sale meeting the description please let me know.

Thanks,
Mark M

Never hurts to ask, and this group knows CC well.

A few ideas:

Have the contact Damon Rapoza(SP?). Many coaches are never advertised, as people like Damon have people lined up looking for specific coaches. And, many people go to professional salesman, Damon is such a person, to represent them in a resale. (Other companies to make contact with would be California Coaches in Costa Mesa, and Motor Homes of Texas. As they are also contacted by sellers not wanting to be too involved on a sale. And or, trade in coaches as they move up the food chain.)

I belive in the years he mentioned, it will be air leveling vs leveling jacks.

I would have him open his search to include Alpines, Beaver Patriot Thunder and up, Foretravel, Monaco Dynasty and up (And equivalent Holiday Rambler line).

Happy hunting for them!!!

I also would look at American Coach. Excellent customer service, parts readily available .2003 and 2004 were especially good years for American Coach!!
