We were planning to have ShadePro replace the fabric on our awnings, but they might not be at the Springfield MA FMCA rally this August. Has anyone else had awning fabric replaced on the east coast, between MA and SC? We will be making our way south from MA to Parris Island SC between August and November and have a flexible schedule. We want Sunbrella fabric and a quality job.

Stonevos doesn't do install. They just sell the fabric.

Is fabric replacement a relatively easy DIY?

usually with 2 people it's fairly easy, however Lonny had heart surgery 18 months ago and I don't want him on a ladder doing the awnings and I'm too short to assist him! LOL

The awnings aren't that much different from the home style patio type. They will charge you at least half the labor vs camping world ($130 an hr) for the install.
Just replaced my two slides and it was actually cheaper (or about the same cost) to order full assemblies vs ordering the material and paying the additionally local man hours manufacturering it to the roller and sewing. Ordering anything from Zip Dee is not cheap, but they do last.

I called ShadePro and tried to make an appointment a few weeks ago and they said they were not sure if they would be there or not and that if they were they would call me back. So far no call back.

are you saying that Stonevoss will install the fabric?? I don't see anything on their website that they do the install. If they are located in Florida that won't work as we want them replaced before we return to Florida in November.
