We've had intermittent leveling issues for some time. Sometime worse than others, not exactly sure how long it's been going on. Lat time we returned a trip and landed in Tucson it took about 6 tries to attain leveling. Here are the symptoms.
Dump air, press leveling button one of the yellow lights come on (here it was the rear). When I let go of the leveling button it returns to travel or nothing happens and if I push the button again the yellow light comes on.
Several times the excess slope light comes on.
I usually here a relay click in the control box.
I've tried not dumping the air and pressing the level button. same thing happens.
When this occurs I put the trans in drive then back to neutral and try again. I did get it leveled after a number of tries.
Next day I tried it and it leveled fine. If the level light come on and stays it works good, press it again and it levels.
I've talked to HWH several times one tech thought it was the control panel. Talked to Eric at Premier, he thought it could be the control panel. He said he may have a spare and I could try it, He's kinda hard to connect with so I'm waiting.
The replacement panel is a RAP 6975. Talked to HWH they are $170 plus shipping and about 10 days to ship. May just buy one and see, lexan is worn some anyway (sold separately).
Anyone have a similar issue or any comments would be appreciated. Want to get this handled while we are in Tucson.

we have an '04 Allure and had intermittent leveling issues but not related to the control panel. Ours was a sticking air valve. We went to HWH in Iowa and before they found the air valve problem, they replaced our control panel and gave us a rebuilt control box. After replacing the panel and control box our coach levels much faster. I would try the control panel then the control box.

Not sure if this will help but here is a manual for trouble shooting.

Suggest you download the manual that JNAT_98 posted. I've used this manual to trouble shoot my leveling system. It is a good step 1, step 2, ....... trouble shooting manual.
