The door is probably PTL.

Hi, we have a 2000 magna also, and i must say the door is the worst door setup. We have electrolysis on the door face and the screen door is not very stableplus there are some brocken hinge at top, any one have they door fix where it closes easy, thanks charles 5886

Not anything to help closing the door but Kevin Waite shipped me a door hinge. I had Butch Williams install the new hinge.

Steve:

What you have is an Elixir Entry Door & they have been out of business for quite some time but I can get hinges for them if any one is in need.

Kevin, do you have replacement parts for the Crime Stoppers auto door lock and alarm that will fit my 2004 Allure #31035 (my bays are also supposedly alarmed)

Thanks Steve. I was wondering, since the PTL door on my Magna is VERY sturdy.

Steve - before I replaced my door hinge with one from Kevin Waite I replaced the hydraulic stut on the top of the door. That helped immensely with problems in closing the door. I believe that it eliminated some of the sag from the worn hinge. Hope this helps.

Anyone experience the piece in the middle of the door of the 2000 Magna delaminating? What type of glue is used to secure it?

My observation of the door is that the strut causes more stress on the hinge and causes it to break. I will have to replace mine soon.
