My unit is a 2003 Allure 1st Avenue. I am trying to access the control unit inside the coach to adjust the tension on the power cord rollers. Cord retracts but sometimes I have to fool with it to get it fully retracted. My unit has a safe mounted on top of the box that contains the cord. Must it be removed first? What part of the cord housing comes off to get to the cord? I have not been able to locate any fasteners that secure the box together. If there are screws somewhere, they sure did a good job of hiding them. Does the part facing the bed, the part facing the passenger side, or the top come off? I know this has been discussed before and it seemed from those discussions that this was going to be quite a simple operation but I can not determine how to access the cord. Thanks for any help

Mine was screwed down with 4 screws. I took the safe off the Box as it was taking up to much closet hanging space and hi hid it in the bottom of my corner cabinet out of sight under a shelf I installed. TWI 2004 Intrigue 11731

Thanks for the replies. I will keep looking for those screws. My wife has better eye sight than me. I will get her on the job then at least I will have someone to yell at.
