I have a 2008 Allure 37 ft Sunset and looking for the hot water booster pump used to support water flow to the OTR front heater. I have heard of the failures and ultimate removal of the unneeded pump. I have looked under my coach and can't seem to find the pump. Was it removed in the 2008 design of the Allure? I was looking to proactively remove before having a problem

Thanks for your help.

It is under the access hatch in the bedroom. Pull the wardrobe door rack, and the hatch comes up. Easy access to the pump then. I would bypass it if I were you, and pull the fuse. The heater still works ok without it.

Thanks for the response but followed the hoses from the engine until front on dual wheels and can't see anything in red hose lines. The heater hoses would have to have some type of break in the line. At least that's my assumption.

I just bypassed the school bus pump in the engine compartment. So the hot coolant is still pushed by the engine water pump up front, just takes a little longer to get heat (maybe 5-10 minutes).

Does anyone know if there is such a pump on the '09 Allure 470 Crane Prairie? I've looked for one and am unable to find it! I haven't lifted the hatch yet. I do want to divert the coolant going to the Aqua Hot with a couple of bypass valves but not sure to install the valves at the back or up by the Aqua Hot? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Buddy, I don't know about the 2008, but in my 2004 it is mounted on the driver's side. It is mounted vertically on the frame. Pics show what it looks like. I get plenty of heat without it. Good Luck.
