Thinking of replacing the ceramic in our bath area. but first have to fix a chronic leak on the shower door. It is leaking on the hinge side bottom. There is a rubber seal there but stops where the door goes over the threshold. Does anyone have an idea besides replacing the shower door. I have removed the entire glass unit an sealed and replaced but it had no effect on the leak.

Give Kevin Waite your email he may have a suggestion for an easy fix.

The seal under the shower door may have been installed backward. If you have the star bead at the top as I do, you can pull the seal out and reverse it so the seal is on the proper angle. The seal must reach past the threshold.
If your old seal is damaged, I found a replacement at Lowes and ebay. They come rolled up and you may have to soak it in warm water for a while then weight it with a straight edge to get the perfect fit. Also, you may have to use that straight edge to cut the perfect width.
Good Luck
