Title: Tucson rally, Satellite internet, TV

FYI to anyone going to the rally in Tucson, one of our CCI members, Bill and Janet Adams are going to be attending. They installed my satellite internet dish ( Datastorm) and they do TV as well as other related installations. If anyone is interested, I can recommend them HIGHLY. If you need to any information, I put them in the "Links" so you can visit their website and email them. It is important that you get a reliable, knowledgeable installer to do this kind of installation as well as support it after it is installed, so this is an opportunity to talk to the best. (FYI, I get nothing from this, I am just passing on a reference to anyone interested that might be going to the Tucson CCI rally...) I love my satellite internet and could not survive full time without it!

Strange coincidence. I was on-line looking for information on satellite internet stuff when this came in. Mexico telephone/internet service is driving me crazy!

John,
We posted about this same idea last night but for some reason it was printed as "spam" and no one answered it. We will be at Beaudrys in Tucson March 6-9 with the southwest Country Coachers. Could possibly arrange an area for a get together if the group is interested. We have volunteered to work for the CCI pre rally and we'll be staying on until the 12th. Put us on the "yes" list, and if we can help, let us know. Dr. Stan

Hi, John

I think we could make that, we are going to spend a week around Phoenix and Prescott before the rally and will drive down that morning from Phoenix. We will just have to get an early start. We hate to leave there before we have to, the Cave Creek Campground by Phoenix is very pleasant.

Check it out, I just uploaded some pictures to the "Harris" photo album.

This sounds like a great idea. Based on the amount of coaches going to Tucson, we should have a good representation of this group. It will be our first CCI rally and also our first FMCA rally. We would like to be able to put some faces to the names in the group. Also, has anyone received their info packs from CCI yet? We will be pulling into Beaudry's on March 1st and look forward to seeing everyone.

Sadly, family requirements will prevent us from attending the Tucson rally, so I hope when you get together you'll set up the mechanics for getting together at future rallies. As of now, we do plan to attend the Spring rally in Tennessee.

We like Tucson Meadows (www.tucsonmeadows.com/RVPark/RVPark.htm (http://www.tucsonmeadows.com/RVPark/RVPark.htm)). Camped out their in our 40-ft. motor home for 2 years. You may prefer The Voyager, but Tucson Meadows is less expensive and it has all the amenities we require.

Haven't exactly followed the drift of this thread but I thought I would pass on a great place to stay in Tucson, Desert Pueblo, Ajo Rd just west of I19. We used to take the monthly.I think they are now about $380/mo + Electricity. Mobile home park that takes RVs, large lots approx 50x80, most landscaped, guarded entrance 24 hrs. Have pools and rec room. Much less xpensive then Beaudry or Voyager.
Sometimes difficult to get into in Feb when the gem show is going.

Voyager Resort, just off the freeway on Kolb road (south) is nice, with lots of things to do (wood shop, jewelry lab, miniature golf, etc). A bit pricey, but when I was there they had a buy one night get one night free deal which was hard to beat.

Another vote for the Desert Pueblo Motor Home Park on W. Ajo off Interstate 19 in Tucson. Very reasonable rates; lovely setting - not crammed in like the other resorts. Biggest bonus - the swimming pool is warm and the hot tub is adequate.
