My Silverleaf VMS240 screen got hit and broken. The unit worked perfectly until then. Does anyone have a used or broken VMS240 or screen or know where I might find one. I contacted Silverleaf but the unit is discontinued and they no longer have parts. Same for Winnabago in Junction City. Checked with a number of RV salvage yards, but no luck. The Silverleaf replacement is a VMS400 at $1,995, but it does not support my SmartTire system and requires the dash panel to be cut up.

Silverleaf did not manufacture the screens. Best thing to do is take the unit apart and look for some numbers on the broken part. Then get on the internet and search that number. Might also give Northwest rv Supply a call. I was just there a week ago but didn't see any Silverleaf stuff on the shelfs but then again there is so much stuff to look through http://www.nwrvsupply.com/ Don

I wanted to share some info with the group; when I read your post about about the VMS400 not supporting the SmarTire system, I became concerned as I am about to order 8 new sensors to replace my dead and dying ones. So, I called Mark at Silverleaf and he informed me that the VMS400 will support the SmarTire system and if we have to do an inverter upgrade, the updated system would also still support the SmarTire system. Hopefully, this info is correct or have I missed something?

Have you tried Colaw RV in Carthage, MO. I know it's a bit 'out of the way' for you but they have one of the largest RV salvage yards in the country and might be able to help. I got a used TCM there yesterday....came with a 6mo warranty and the price was reasonable. They are great people to work with.
