I have a question relative to removing the house batteries. Will it hurt the inverter to remove all the house batteries and put in new ones? Or should I shut the coach completely off? Meaning un-plug from 50 amp service and turn the switch off in the battery bay? Thus shutting all power off.

It would be safe to remove all power, unplug, turn off switch to remove any incoming charge or outgoing load. I am always extremely careful when working with this much amperage on the batteries. I would remove all power and unplug coach. Turn off switch. I put a rubber or a towel over the positive terminals to prevent hitting them when working with the wrenches. Remove the ground first then remove positive. Install positive first then the ground. Be careful LOL I have welded wrenches and arced them in half and was lucky nothing else happened. Take pics if there are a lot of cables first so you don't forget where they go. Easy game.

Sounds like a smart man! I'm getting ready to put all new batteries in my car one more thing I might add masking tape around the end of all terminals and mark them what battery they go to it's good policy as you can mix up terminals very easily. One other suggestion take a photo how the battery compartment before you start as well
