About a couple of months ago I reveived some good advice from this group concerning the removal of the 3m front mask from my coach. I applied that information to the project and now have a great looking front nose. No damage to the original paint and it looks as good as new. The only change I made during the process was to use paint thinner instead of the 3M adhesive cleaner. Started out using the 3M cleaner but found that it was getting to expensive at $13 a can. Found that regular paint thinner was working just as good if not better in removing the glue residue with no damage to the paint. Much cheaper going this route.
Now my next project. Need to remove the step well cover from the coach. It appears to me that some access to the cover can be gained by removing a metal cover behind the fuse box in the drivers side front compartment.??? If this is the case, can all the components of the cover be removed in this fashion. I have a couple of problems with the cover and the only way to address them is complete removal from the coach. If anyone has knowledge or experience regarding this repair that might help me I sure would appreciate your input. Thanks.
