Greetings all.

I've bought two panels and associated parts and now I'm trying to figure out how to connect the controller output to both the house and chassis batteries. I'm thinking I can do this at the Boost solenoid in the chassis battery bay. Would putting a fuse and diode in the leg to each battery cable prevent cross tying the batteries and still allow both to charge? Am i missing something? How have others accomplished this? Thanks in advance.

John,

You don't need to connect your solar charge system to your chassis batteries. As you charge the house batts the Echo Charger will pass current to the chassis batts just as it does when you are connected to shore power.

Good luck with your project
