My wife and I recently purchased a 2009 Country Coach Veranda Mt. Rainier 400. We absolutely love it, however it was a bank repo and came with NO manuals. Does anyone out there own one we could pay to copy the owner's manuals? Please contact me asap. Thanks for your time and help.

I'm writing not to offer any info on manuals but to say I think you are so lucky to have bought that. When this coach of yours was presented to us CC owners at a CC gathering that year, my husband and I thought it was such a great idea. I checked out pictures of one on RVTrader just now, and if yours is like that one, it sure is beautiful with especially gorgeous wood. Your bathroom also looks great! We sure do wish you a great time enjoying and traveling and living in your coach.

Many CC owners also got disc copies of the manuals, I have them for my Intrigue for example. If you're luck you find someone with discs you can copy. Also try Damon Rapozo.

Thanks for the warning.  We are going with someone who is very experienced and driven with all kinds of RV’s including motorhome.  This will be his 25th round trip.  Thanks again.

Well, for what its' worth, I live in Alaska, and drive my 40' Country Coach just about every year, to, and from. I have never had any issues with the drive, save one time, when northwest of Whitehorse, in the Yukon, driving through about 100 miles of frost heave roads, I should have maintained a speed of 45 mph, and didn't see the dip in time, and damaged my tow bar. I learned from that, and have had no further issues.

Expect to see the most wildlife in B.C. and the Yukon. West of Whitehorse are many beautiful white Dall Sheep.

Have a safe and fun trip,
Jim

I highly recommend you check your coach out from bumper to bumper to make sure it is very road worthy! Towing fees for these long coaches are very expensive in Alaska! And service for the higher end complex units such as the one you own is far and few between in Alaska! Other than that, Alaska is an absolutely beautiful "Country"! Lol Please travel safely and keep us posted as to your experience!

This is exactly why you have a towing plan such as CoachNet.

The roads are not that bad, even 15 years ago. We went on a caravan with a mix of motorhome brands and none of them had a problem. Our tour leader told us that there is never any reason to drive over 50MPH. Not one blowout, not one flat tire, nothing mechanical that would have kept any coach from driving. Only problem was one guy cut it a little short leaving a gas station and banged up the bay doors.
