We own an allure 370 #31279 with a 400 ISL cummins eng. The MH has been in storage for 13 months. We ran eng about every 4 to 5 weeks (also the gen). for about 1 hour. We took a short drive and the Silver Leaf gave a warning "high fuel line pressure". Eng shut down. We manage to return home but needed to stop about every few blocks.
We changed both fuel filters; ran eng about 30 minutes and the silver leaf was cleared. Drove about a mile to add 40 gal fuel; gauge indicates 3/4 tank.
Question:
1) Has anyone had similar problem and your solution.
2) When not using MH; has anyone used an algae treatment and which brand.

Same algae problem a few years ago on our 2003 400 ISL, and have added BIOBOR JF microbiocide ever since. A little goes a long way, and it works great. I use it regularly, whether traveling or stored, along with Star Tron. Safe travels.

Agree with prior post. Any biocide (from Walmart, truck stop, etc.) will do. Change fuel filters every 12 mo.

Agree with both previous posts. In addition make sure the fuel tank is kept full. I mean brim full. Limits condensation.
Store my coach 10 - 12 months at a time. Never a problem. Well, not regrading fuel quality that is.

We used to have algae problems all the time ... clogged filters from an algae bloom in the tank. Started keeping tank full when stored to prevent condensation in the empty air space and we always use Valvtect Bioguard when the coach is going to sit for more than a couple of weeks. We buy it from West Marine because it is used a lot in marine engines since they have a constant high humidity environment causing condensation in their fuel.
