I lost a chrome hole plug that covers up the 4 little 5/8" holes that hold mirror mounting bracket onto the front cap of the coach. I have been talking with both Ramco and Valvac, and they both say it is not their mirror. They say they never supplied Country Coach... Is that right? I thought they were. Anyway, does anyone know who made these mirrors? I am about to go fabricate some hole plugs myself, painting them chrome, but it would sure be nice to get the original factory part.

Greg,
I believe the mirrors on your coach were made by Ramco. They're in Elkhart, Indiana.

The mirrors on my 06 Allure are Velvac. CC probably bought the mirrors from a distributor.

I talked to Ramco, even plant foreman , he says it is not thief mirror and no plugs avail... He suggested maybe Hadley?

I talked to Velvac, they said it is not their mirror even though a coach photo on their website looks like it... Frustrating... Personally I think it is one of the two ( Ramco or Velvac), but I can't convince their tech desks of that.

Thanks Kevin. Well, after talking to both Remco and Velvac, and both of them telling me they are not their mirrors, I will try Hadley.

My '08 Allure mirrors are VELVAC. Clearly marked as such on the mounting brackets. Take a photo of the mount and send it to them. Their records are off, or else the didn't sell direct to Country Coach.

Yes Don, I did that. Sent both Ramco and Velvac 4 pictures of my mirrors and both said they are not theirs... I am trying Hadley now, I will see what they say next week. I am about to make some myself.

So it turns out the mirrors on the 2005-2009 Magna and Affinity are Hadley. I talked to their tech desk and they confirm my pics of my mirrors are theirs. They don't sell retail parts though. They suggested calling Winnebago for Hadley parts.
So Kevin was right. Country Coach used Ramco, Velvac, and Hadley depending on your model.

If you decide to make one yourself make an extra one for me or if you find out where to order get me one also or the contact info where I could order it. I would really appreciate it. I made a feeble attempt to find one and I don't remember which company I talked to but they said they would have to make one special and to set up the machining, etc it would cost prohibitive so I just gave up. Thought maybe I would find one at salvage place eventually.

Dennis, Order these from Essentra Components, they fit perfectly, can't tell they are replacements. Plug is also corrugated rubber so I think will not vibrate out.
