OK, issue #2 today....
When I picked up the coach last night at Cummins, I realized I forgot to turn off the inverter and the salesman switch when I dropped of the coach last week. I thought the repair was 1-2 days....but it turned into 6. The coach batteries were dead. Had to restore the program on the rear view camera!
Got home, plugged in to 20V, within 10 mins. Battery full light was on and we were at 98% on the Trace RC7 panel. Imagine that.
So, do I need to "reset" the Trace? What is going on?
Thanks!

Seeing this and not remembering what coach you have, Jim.
Thanks.

Is it possible your batteries were not dead? Perhaps the shop shut off your batteries for you? That would cause the reset of the rearview mirror to occur too:)! Maybe call the shop and ask them to confirm they either did turn off the batteries while working on the coach, or did not.
(Many shops, make it a standard procedure to turn off the main battery back by the battery compartment, and or, the salesman switch. To reduce the accidental shorting of electric components.)
If your batteries are wet, do cell Specific Gravity test with the Turkey Baster reader. If AGM, make sure the batteries are fully rested, say turn off the salesman switch and wait to the next day, and take Multi Meter readings of voltage.
Maybe you're in great shape, which would be nice for a change while chasing a problem:)!
Best to you,
Smitty

Thanks Smitty! I'll give them a call Monday. Also, is Trace Engineering still in business? I'd love to get some info from them as well...
The salesman switch was not "off" when we picked up the coach and the yellow lights on the Trace panel were all off...all the way home until I plugged in to shore power. Then after 10-15 mins. They came alive and said the battery was full.
Again, thanks so much for your info!
