The front cap is sliding out from under the front door flange. It has moved about 3/8' at the bottom by the steps and no movement near the top. It also sheared 3 rivets near the bottom by the steps. The drivers side is fine.
Any ideas as to what is going on?

If those are the original rivets they are way past normal lifetime and failed from metal fatigue or salt rot. Go up one size with new rivets. Also replace any other questionable ones.

This would be a good time to do a 360 inspection for other rivet failure around bay doors, etc.

Thanks Lee. Good idea on the rivets. I also found a bracket underneath that was coming loose. I lowered the coach all the way down and everything went back to normal. I tightened the bracket on the bottom and re leveled the coach. Everything is now where it belongs. I will replace the rivets and then re caulk. Do you have a recommendation on what caulking to use? I know sikaflex has been mentioned but they have a bunch of different ones.

Norm, couldn't make a caulk suggestion, perhaps others will chime in.
