I'm looking for recommendations for a full-motion satellite set-up and am open to suggestions. Would like it to support DirectTV (primary) and Dish (second choice). I am not concerned about internet access but would like to keep the antenna profile to a minimum.
Please give me your thoughts, I've had two recommendations thus far:
Datron DBS4800 and TracStar SV360.
Thanx in Advance

Take a look at this one. Looks like the lowest profile that I've run across.

I've had the TracStar SV260 for over two years now. It has been trouble free and supports both DirecTV and Dish. I believe it is about the same as the SV360, but doesn't have the low profile like the newer 360 does.

Trac Star SV 360 all the way. It is the lowest profile you will find that still retains enough of a "dome" to keep water from standing on top.

Before you make a decision, you should check into the Winegard Movin' View. Its only draw back is that it is not "low-profile". The Trac Star (a very good product) is 12 3/4" while the other antennas are 15". Not a big difference, but certainly a difference.
The Winegard antenna gets the highest signal strength of any of the dome antennas and compares to a full size 18" open antenna. It is also the only antenna on the market that will automatically switch between the 2 Dish Network satellites (110 & 119) simply by changing channels on your remote control.
(Disclaimer: We are dealers for the Winegard antenna. We will be in Tucson for CCI rally if you would like to compare this antenna.)
