Title: Fresh water source

The question is, when fresh water hose is hooked up and pressurized, if water pump is on what is the water source? Is it the water tank via the pump, the hose via hose pressure, or whichever has the most pressure? In our previous coach (not a CC) when the pump was on water always came from the tank. Can't tell from system schematics and my fresh water level gauge is not reliable.
No guessing please.(https://ec.yimg.com/ec?url=https%3A%2F%2Fs.yimg.com%2Fok%2Fu%2Fassets%2Fimg%2Femoticons%2Femo44.gif&t=1525616854&sig=ADR974DTyPi1RCYQWCg7ew--~D) Thanks

Same as your old coach, with the pump on it comes from the tank. That usually provides higher water pressure too.

Brian,
When I have a hose connected to the inlet of the Coach, this is where my water comes from.
I have the water pump turned on at the same time. But it does not come on or pump water.

I have a valve to turn that is labelled "City Water" and Tank Water.

So, if I turn this valve to "Tank Water" it starts filling the tank and the water pump comes on.

While filling or putting water in the coach, i turn off the water pump.

When I'm not connected to "City Water" this/that valve is always in the City water position.
and the water pump kicks in and supply water to the coach.

I have a water softener connected to the incoming supply and this is how I know when I have
all valves in the open position, If I turn on a faucet in the coach and I hear the water pump come
on I know I have not opened up all the shutoffs.

This is how mine works.

How obvious is that! Yup, pump on but it doesn't run when using water. Thanks

The way it should work is that if the city water pressure is above the pressure setting on your water pump, the water pump will not come on. If it is below, the water pump should come on to bring it up the rest of the way to the set pump pressure. So the answer to the question depends on the pressure of your city water.

Thanks

The pump will always draw from tank as it has no other connection. Other than if you have an inlet and valve for winterizing.

Pump will rUn connected to shore if water pressure is less than the pumps shutoff pressure.

What do you mean "won't start"? Do you have electrical power? Will it crank? Or does it crank and not start? We need more details of your problem.

I doubt SilverLeaf calibration has anything to do with it. Did you mistakenly turn on Theft Deterrent in SilverLeaf?

Couch has power, batters full but I turn the key and nothing. You mentioned theft deterrent in silver leaf how could I have turned it on and how do I turn it off. When I connected it up the generator started automatically ran for a while and turned it self off but no power when I turn the key to start it.

Does the transmission control pad light up? My LEXA had this issue which turned out to be the PCM for the Allison Transmission was bad. Hopeful yours is easier than this.

Sounds like your chassis battery disconnect switch in rear bay is switched off.

The theft deterrent is a selection in SilverLeaf, I forget where it is, maybe Spec button. It is for Cat engines only.

Option 1: Try disconnecting all your chassis batteries for a minute, then reconnect batteries and try again.
Option 2: Find main box for Silverleaf (mine is in a roadside bay). disconnect the MAIN plug for a minute, reconnect and try to start again.
