We have a 2002 Intrigue, #11410. The coach batteries are getting drawn down and we have a shop troubleshooting for us. They report that even when the house and chassis master switches are off, the hydronic heating and the inverter are pulling 12V power. Any ideas and input out there?

Thanks,

I have a 2002 Allure. The connection to the inverter is not on any of the master disconnects. It goes thru the 400 amp fuse from the house batteries. Yours will be the same. I actually added a disconnect when i upgraded batteries. This eliminates any arcing when removing the cables.

Have them put a DC amp meter on the positive cable and turn off the inverter. There is a solenoid that allows the house batteries to be charged from the alternator. If that's not pulling in when the engine is running your batteries will not charge from the alternator.

I have a 1999 Intrigue that when the unit was placed in storage with the disconnect switches thrown, the house batteries would die. What I found is that from the factory the inverter is not shut off by the disconnect switch leaving power to the control module and the FAN.... Installing a battery terminal physical disconnect stopped it.

Kevin, could you recommend a switch?

Here's one on Amazon that should handle the load of the inverter and the other current draws.

Amazon.com: Cllena Battery Disconnect Switch Waterproof Master Isolator Cut... (http://www.amazon.com/Cllena-Disconnect-Waterproof-Isolator-Vehicles/dp/B01N44NHTW/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1519054007&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=battery+disconnect+switch&psc=1)
