Greetings all.I have a nagging problem with my cruise control. Doesn't work, VIP makers of smart wheel said it was the Control box, new control box installed, no fix, Then they said Clock spring was bad ,(they don't make the clock spring)new clock spring still no fix, all voltages check out and smart wheel buttons do work, swapped with another wheel. Dash light comes on, no work Computer tested connected to J plug all parameters ok, experts stumped, so I'm on the net. anyone had this problem Thanks in advance

Well, the basic questions: Did it ever work, Did you go read the directions in the manual, Do you have the tech document for the Smart Wheel?

Had the same problem on my 06 Inspire. The problem was a resistor in the printed circuit board located in the steering wheel. Took a friend who is a E.E. three days to find the problem. Hope this helps

Check for a burned out brake light bulb. Also be sure your engine brake is off.

Two thoughts: email CC and/or post on the IRV2 forum.

Is the Jake brake on? I know simple answer right, but it got me a couple times.
